The Postman Only Knocks Twice
Waiting in for a parcel for flatmate who used to live here. Ho hum. Don't you just love those electronic voice-activated phone lines, so they can re-send it, between 9 and 5. GROAN. Still waiting!

Going to put kettle on and ginger snaps looking at me meaningfully!  I blame [info]miss_amethyst! Only kidding! ;)

postmen are annoying buggers though!!

And if you want to try and get it from the depot they seem to want you to have large amounts of ID!

Well, it's also why didn't she get it sent to London? People really don't think. And I'm still waiting. This is a separate delivery company I think. Our normal post comes at different times anywhere, between 12 and 3. Yes, I've hard about that with the ID. Silly. :@

Yes, coffee and ginger snaps are defintely calling, "Ahoy Captain, Loud and Clear!"

Well I did get away with the ID thing once - I had the card they pushed through my door, and I had a switch card with my name one it - but it was while I was a student so my drivers license had my parents address on it.

She asked if I could say where it had come from and what was in it...

I know what I said wasn't on the label (they used their discrete packaging name) but she was that embarrassed she handed it over while blushing bright red.

It was from fettered pleasures london and I said I'd be happy to describe the contents if she really wanted me to - oddly enough she declined...
