Earlier in the day:
What a ***** day, adding, that yours truly went flying over bloody phone left in hall and internet wire (which will be firmly tied up out the way), while holding violin. Didn't fall, but head of said violin (scroll) slalomed into the bedroom door. My language turns electric blue, understandably. Don't feel cross, but thinking it very strongly. violin seems to be ok, very surprisingly, going to get a friend who makes violins, to see that there's no lurking cracks.

Drinking wine and lemonade and very loudly and seriously, cursing certain people. Endangering my violin is a fate worse than death. *GRAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR*

OMG, that ranks with the time when Liz was a baby and I tripped when carrying her - no, her head didn't slam into anything but it was a near thing. *Crosses fingers for poor violin*

Thank you. Violin seems to be fine, but if I can get over to Halifax sometime, I'll ask Gina Le Faux to have a look for any possible cracks or problems. I was absolutely horrified. Most I can see is violin's like me and has a tough head. Touch wood. And in reaction went very out of tune. But I played a while ago, after cosseting the poor violin, most of the day, and cross fingers, it seems alright. Please Gods. :@

NOOOooooooooesss! Not the violin!!! ….. BUT maybe it sounds better?! *hugs to you and the violin* I hope it’s tucked up in bed with lots of paracetamol and a warm woolly scarf around its neck xx
